Task#1: Site-Specific Art
Site-specific or Environmental art refers to an artist’s intervention in a specific locale, creating a work that is integrated with its surroundings and that explores its relationship to the topography of its locale, whether indoors or out, urban, desert, marine, or otherwise.
Task#2: Richmond
Select a structure and/or location in Richmond to wrap. Find maps and a variety of images of this site. You can us google earth to find aerial views of your site. Save reference images to your drive Unit2 folder.
Task#3: Study
Create a project proposal study for your site. Show an example of what it would look like wrapped, include various angles and/or maps of the location.
Task#4: Closure
Google Slide "Wrapped Richmond"
Create a slide for your proposal. Add your study along with your reference images and maps. Write a brief description of your project:
- site information: address, history, function
- why have you selected this site
- how have you chosen to wrap this location
