What are your strengths and weakness with in the group. Do you feel everybody in your group is working equally? Why/Why not explain. What are your rolls in the group? Has any one individual shown strong leadership? Who helps keep everybody on task? Who is the communicator? Do you as an individual need to do anything to make sure that everybody in your group works to their fullest potential?
As you build your structure make sure you use good craftsmanship and get it glued together, make sure you write your name on one of the sides. You may use a small amount of my blue painters tape or a rubber band to hold the structure together until it dries. Once you have both rectangular prisms built bring them to me for a grade. I will be grading your structures on size, shape, craftsmanship and following directions. If you do not have both your forms finished by the end of class your homework will be to have them finished (glued and dried) by the time you come to class on Monday. If it is not finished you will receive a zero and you will be letting your group down because they will not have your forms to add to the final structure. If you are finished you will need to help your group members. When everybody in your group has completed their forms you will need to start planning how you will combine all the prisms together into a single free standing structure. Will be scored on the following requirements (#303): free standing, composition, use of negative space, and craftsmanship. Your groups final structure will have to be complete, glued together and free standing by the end of class on Monday. Exit Ticket: (#302.5)

Please form yourselves into 4 teams (you have 4 minutes to do this). Each set of two tables should only have 4 students. Please pick your teams carefully. You will be working as a team on the next project and you will be graded individual, but also as a team. This project will require you to work together in order to build and create structures, take this into consideration when selecting teammates.
Using the template given to your team you must each create 2 forms (#302) with the exact same measurements, you may use xacto knives with cardboard underneath to cut as well as glue and scissors. I will give a few brief suggestions on how to cut the tag board, but the rest will be up to your team to figure out. Your final pieces will need to go into your new group table cubbies. Exit Ticket: (#301.5) In your sketchbook reflect on you group. Who are your group members? How well do you work together/Did you work as a group or as individuals? How did you delegate task? Homework: (#300) Glue everything into your sketchbook: Final assessment rubrics and final reflection/semester exam. This is an Exam. No talking. If you are talking during the exam I will start taking points off, 10 points at a time. Go to school space>Lessons>Semester Exam Folder:
Open the file called SemesterExam_IdentityReflection. Type your name and class block into the header then save this as LastnameFristname_IdentityReflection. Use 12 point font and save your work periodically as you are working through your exam. When you are finished go to School Space>Lessons>Semester Exam Folder>Semester Exam Drop Box and upload your properly saved exam. Please keep all supplies with you. I will be individually calling up to check your sketchbook and to return supplies. At the end of class I will have each group of tables make two alphabetical stacks: one stack of sketchbooks and one stack of final projects (make sure your name is clearly printed on the back). BRING SKETCHBOOKS, COMPUTERS, AND ALL CHECK-OUT SUPPLIES ON EXAM DAY!!!
Last day to work on projects. You may sign out supplies if you need to work over the weekend. All supplies will need to be brought back on Tuesday for a grade. Your project is due when you come to class on Tuesday for you Semester Exam (project reflection)...Bring your WORKING computer.
I will send around a Thumb-drive to collect your sketchbook digital copies. Make sure you put them in in the correct class. All the images should be JPG and in a folder titled with your name. I will also come around the classroom and check your gallery critique.
Work on your project. I will check your gallery critique and collect your digital sketchbook images on Monday. Please make sure the images are clear, easy to read and orientated in the correct direction. I have a "Sign Out Sheet" taped to my desk if you need to sign out supplies to work on your project over the weekend. Please clean up at 10:30. DO NOT LEAVE MATERIALS OR SUPPLIES IN OR AROUND THE SINK...CLEAN YOUR PAINT BRUSHES.
You have 5 class days to finish your Identity project. Make sure you stay focused and on task in class. You may also want to take a little time today and Friday to digitally document your sketchbook pages. Make sure you images are high resolution, clear and easily read. This is a 100 point workbook assignment and you will lose point for pages that can not be clearly viewed. You will want to keep them all as Jpeg and in one folder. I suggest opening them in the window fax viewer to quickly scan the images for clarity and to insure they are all facing the correct direction. Go to school space lessons and select digital sketchbook examples (excellent/good/bad). They will be in PDF format but your pages must be in JPEG format.
You will begin working on your project today if you haven't already. I will have a list at my desk for you to fill out with the size/sizes of paper and type. Do not forget that your gallery critique and digital copy (jpeg) of your first semester sketchbook is due on Friday.
