Task#1: Watercolor / Resist
Using the oil pastel and tape create different surfaces that will resist watercolor
- line quality (thick and then)
- tearing or cutting out shapes
- change in pressure

Using the watercolors in a very diluted fashion work over the top of your resist marks
- transparent layers

- texture (drips, splatters, drops)
Dry your work with a hair dryer or leave it sitting out
Tasks#4: Reveal
Pull tape from you composition to show the resisted areas
- positive space/shape
- saturation
- bleeding
- tears
- Label the different areas of experimentation
- reflect on what you learned, likes, dislikes, combinations that work well togethers
- rework areas that to see how to layer materials
