Art 3/ Art 4: Warm-up
Get your out your Still Life Project. Carefully remove the project from the board. Art 3: In Class You will use the mat cutter to create a 19x15 window out of a 23x19 frame. This will give you a mat that to go around your project with a 2 inch boarder. Once you have cutout the 19x15 window give the cutout section to one of the Art 4 students. You will then need to tape down the back of your project. Make sure you name is on your finished project before you turn it in to me. Study Ceramics Terms and make up any missed work!!! Exam will be next class. Don't forget about Exquisite Corpse due on Thursday and Gallery Critiques due tomorrow. Art 4: In Class Our color pencils are on back order. Until then I would like you to visit Ms. Rogish's Ap Studio Blog: http://hhsartrogish.weebly.com/ap-studio-art.html Use the drop down tab and select Past AP Portfolios>Select each student and look at their "Breadth Work". Once you have looked at all the portfolio plan your next project. It needs to be something that can showcase a strong technique and material usage (variety and range of the artist’s ability and subject matter). Create a project plan in your sketchbook. While you are working on this you will also need to cut your frame. The Art 3 students will bring you a 15x19 piece of board. You will need to use the paper cutter to even out the edges and create a 14x17 inch surface for your frame. You will then need to use the mat cutter to make a 10x13 window to frame your work. After you have used the mat cutter please tape down the back of your project on to the frame and write you name. Study for your exam (final reflection over project and artist research questions) and make up any missed assignments. Don't forget Exquisite Corpse due Thrusday and Gallery Critique due on Monday.
