Postponing DC Fieldtrip:
Hi Everyone- We want to update you on the status of Monday’s visual arts field trip: Due to the time missed this week because of the power outage, we will be postponing Monday’s Visual Arts Field Trip to Washington DC. All students who have paid will keep their spot-and a few more spots will still be offered to fill the two buses we had reserved on a new date. As the school system can still not be sure that we will return to school tomorrow, and many students need to be present in their academic classes on Monday for benchmark testing and other important “catch-up” from missed days before we go home for Thanksgiving-we feel this is the best possible solution to an unexpected complication. Our new date for the field trip is Monday, February 23rd (we are hoping to avoid conflict with semester exams and hopefully miss the bulk of the season’s snow); please let your teachers know if you will now be unable to attend or if you are interested in reserving one of the few spots left. Thank you for your understanding! Please let us know if you have any questions. Hope to see everyone soon- Genevieve P Dowdy/Fine Arts Teacher Art 3: Homework ExamplesArt 3:
