PRINTMAKING- RELIEF RUBRIC
Your final lino print project should include 1 Artist Proof and an edition of 23 prints. This is a total of 24 PRINTS.
You will be graded based on the following criteria.

__________Technical: There is a total for 24 prints (edition of 23 and 1 artist proof) All prints have clean bordesr free of ink or smudges. The image is crisp and transparent, free of ink blots or inconsistent ink transfer. The printing of the plate shows correct use of ink and image registration. The edition is consistent visually and executed with great craftsmanship.
__________Your image is resolved in in terms of composition . You utilize elements and principles of design to create an image which has depth, movement, and balance. For example, is your head floating in space, or is it grounded by pattern, line, texture, overlapping, etc.
__________Your print shows intention in the translation of your sketches. You considered the properties of the lino plate in relation to your lines, and values. Did you experiment with different carving techniques?
__________Use of materials and class time- You were mindful of how supplies and materials were handled during word time and cleanup. You worked at a consistent pace, utilizing all of your time in class actively throughout the entire process of the project.
