Think about how you will need to wrap your object in order to make it interesting. How can you mask the form with out losing the form? Do you want part of the form exposed? Why? How can you use thread to create interest and reinforce the element of line. How can pulling the fabric tight or letting bunch up impact the form?
You can use my light box or you can use white paper to block out the back ground.
Task#2: Wrap
Wrap your object using the fabric and thread provided.
Task#3: Document
Take a pictures of you wrapped object. You may use the light box or white paper to block out the background. Use the spot light to create shadows and highlights. Take pictures from several angles. Think about good composition (1/3rds 2/3rds rule).
Task#4: Google Slide
Create a google slide (Aii: Wrapped Object)

demonstrate understanding of the role of the art form in original or displaced contexts

- discussion of your object in its original context (see below)
- What was its function/how was it used/purpose/meaning to you.
- reflect on how you have changed this by wrapping the object
- what sort of aesthetic choices did you make while wrapping your object
- included the Aii criteria stated above.
- sketch your object using ebony pencil
- create a slide "wrapped object study"
- add sketch and reference photo to this slide
- no reflection!!!
