Create a slide that explores your Social Justices topic. See directions in schoology.
- In your sketchbook divide a page into 4 equal sections and create a drawing of something that relates to your topic in the first square, you must use a reference image as well as add value and details. Think of a simple subject that can represent something more complex.
- Watch the this video (https://www.loom.com/share/db9461066eae41188a94749411645a01) starting at minute 26:50. The video example is of an animal, ignore that aspect but apply the same techniques to your image.
- Follow the directions in the video and re-draw your subject in the next box focusing just on the details needed order to make your image recognizable. Do not look back at your original reference image but rather draw based off the information you have from you first drawing.
- Once you have drawn your second image, look over the image and see what parts or features of the drawing are work and what parts are not, make notes on your paper.
- Draw your subject a 3rd time applying the corrections you noted on the second image use the negative space to practice drawing elements you want to change.
- Draw your image for the 4th time applying what you learned from your last drawing and notes. You should be able to redraw your final drawing in under 60 seconds
- Create a Slide "Image Simplification"
- label slide
- add your 4 step process
- arrange the images in order across your slide
