Go to our class on School Space>Lessons>Wrapped:Unit1>Select WrappedSelfAssessment.
This file is a word document. Please make sure you type your name in the correct space at the top of the page. You will also want to go ahead and save this as WrappedSelfAssessmentM1_1_Yourname. Then complete the Student Reflection section of the Self-Assessment for each of the goals (Composition, Value, Media Exploration/Application and Craftsmanship/Presentation). Give an appraisal of the work with a score for each section. Reflect on your process, use proper vocabulary and art terminology, as well as state areas for improvement. You will get a score from me for your Wrapped Figure, but you will also get a score for your reflection. If you want to see how I am scoring your reflection you can view the ReflectionRubric document. This document is located just below the WrappedSelfAssessment document in the Wrapped: Unit1 folder. Do not type or do anything with this document. It is just for you to see how I am scoring your reflection. When you have completed the WrappedSelfAssessment document and you have saved it in the correct format (WrappedSelfAssessmentM1_1_yourname) you must drop that in the class Drop Box from the lessons page on School Space. Reflection must be turned in before you leave class. When you are finished start the Artist Fabric Studies (see below).
Artist Fabric Studies
When you are finished go back to Wrapped: Unit1 in the Lessons sections of our class School Space page and select the file called Fabric. This is a jpeg with 4 images of fabric studies by famous artist. You will need to recreate these images in your sketchbook using a regular pencil or ebony pencil. This will be a double page spread in your sketchbook called Fabric Study. Two images per page, each image should be about 3x4 or 4x4(inches), depending on the composition of the image. The images are upload as a jpeg so that you can open it in the Windows Photo Viewer which allows you to see the whole image clearly or zoom in to see details more clearly. What you don’t finish in class is your homework due Monday, September 15th.
Please organize your sketchbook and make sure you have everything for my class together!!!
