- 1/27: Self-Evaluation/Reflection and Process Slide
- 1/27: Start Photoshop Project Final
Task#2: Homework Uploaded 9AM
Process Step Slide:
Number and reflect on the images you will use for this slide. You do not need to use all the images you took. You will need 4-5 pictures that best show your process as well as one image of your final process. Create a layout on your slide for the images to easily flow from step to step. Number your steps and begin reflection on your process. See Examples below.
Get out projects and supplies (charcoal, eraser, gesso, watercolor, paintbrush, paint palette water cup)
Task#4: Projects
DO NOT FORGET TO TAKE PROCESS STEP PICTURES!!!
You will need 4-5 process step pictures as well as a final image of your project on your process step slide.
At this point your composition should be blocked in on your project paper and you should have at least one process step image (see process step example on 1/6/17 blog post).
Everybody should be working with gesso and watercolor at this point. Do not leave your background until the end. Begin blocking in your background as you work on your subject. You will go back and forth with gesso, watercolor and charcoal several times to create your final image. Add process step picture to your drive folder and your digital sketchbook. Final Process Slide do 9AM Friday (1/27).
Task#5: Clean UP
- Return charcoal and erasers to the front table.
- Thoroughly clean your brushes and return them to the brush cup on the center table.
- Clean your palette and return it to the dish rack. If you had to washout a lot of gesso, don't get some much next time so we don't waste supplies.
- Projects go in the 2nd block section of the drying rack. Place cover sheet under project.
- Wipe down table with soapy towel, then dry with towels hanging by the back door.
