Thank you all for coming to the meeting. As you could tell the selection process is going to be difficult. To make it easier for us to decided I would like my students to give me a paragraph statement about why you want to be part of the committee based off what you heard at the meeting. I will need this by Tuesday morning.
If you are missing any work (if you have a zero, or a Late grade (triangle on powerschool) you have until Monday to make it up. For some of you if you miss this check your work will only be work a 50%. Come see me if you have concerns.
Task#1: Image Select
Select the self-portrait photo you would like to work with for this mini-project. Make sure you image is high resolution (not pixelated).
Task#2: Open in Photoshop (demo)
- crop 3.5x5 500 resolution
- edit>preferences>guides/grids & slices
- grid color bright blue or red (something with image contrast)
- .5 inch section 1 division per section > ok
- view>show>grid
- view fit on screen
- snip tool (leave a small boarder)
- save as YourName_grid.jpg
