Task#1: Get out Sketchbooks
Go to your next double page spread
trace out 4 of the 5x3.5 boxes onto your sketchbook paper
put 2 boxes on each page
Task#2: Sketch
- Using the fabric study images as your reference sketch an image into each of the boxes.
- Use an ebony pencil for two of the images
- use a regular pencil for two of the images. If you have a set of drawing pencils you may experiment with these, please make note of what number pencil you are using in different areas.
Task#3: Document
- Take an individual picture of each of your sketches
- put images in your drive folder for this class
- Create a new slide "Fabric Studies"
- Add image to slide
- Add process reflection below to this slide
- Remember presentation is our focus this unit

- describe the process used for each material (regular pencil / ebony pencil) to create value that renders form
- compare and contrast the two materials
