Don't forget about gallery critiques over Winter Break... They are due 1/25, but don't put it off. If you are in down town or Cary Town or DC with your family go and look at art work and get proof. Artist Research Due: 1/11 Task#1: Get out your object. Make sure you have several photos of your wrapped object. You can have some that are zoomed in or cropped, but try to have at least three views that show the whole object. Task#2: Charcoal/Gesso Looking at your object or photos of your object we will work with charcoal to define the form then go in with gesso to blend values and create highlights. Task#3: Print Print out your photos and your Pre-Assessment (print the version with my scores). See table of contents when gluing these task into your sketchbook. Task#4: Clean up All brushes and tables need to be clean of gesso and charcoal. Charcoal/Gesso media studies go on the drying rack, please make sure you place them in your block section. Reflection: Start reflecting over the processes learned today: Material Exploration, Strengths and Weaknesses, Areas for improvement. |
