Task#2: Charcoal Gesso Demonstration
- need enough charcoal value to blend
- soften edges (no hard outline/use line quality)
- use eraser first to get high lights
- use a little water with the gesso
- work in light areas first with gesso
- blend shadows to get mid tones with gesso
- let dry, work back in with charcoal pencil for shadows, texture, and details
- push gesso highlight
Task#3: Documentation Charcoal Gesso
Take a picture of your Charcoal Gesso study. Add to your Charcoal Gesso google slide
Task#4: Closure
