Complete your Daily Required Schoology Warm UP
Make sure you have your Alternative Printmaking slide screenshot uploaded to schoology showing your subject drawing on cardboard and the glue tracing of the subject.
Get out Supplies:
Glue, Pencil, Cereal Boxes
Task#1: Texture (5/3-Asynchronous)
Think about your subject? What sort of texture could you implement in order to reinforce the meaning or context of your subject? How can you simplify this texture into a pattern/line drawing?
In order to create texture plates you will need to draw out the texture design you want to use on each of your cereal boxes (draw on the inside of the box). Make your texture design be something that makes sense with your subject. You must have 2 texture plates for this project.
Task#3: Glue Tracing
Video 2: Making texture
Watch video and then add glue to your lines to create a texture plate
Store your texture plates somewhere safe to dry for 24 hours
Task#4: Upload
Take a picture of each of your glue texture drawings, while they are wet (white glue).
Add images to your "Alternative Print Making Slide". Just a picture of the wet glue tracing for each texture design.
Take a screenshot of this in-process slide and upload to schoology
