Using the paper you will use for the project create media studies
Paper can be; kroger paper bag and/or any large fast food bag, any large surface
(two pieces of regular paper taped together)
- Create 4 small media studies (5"x5"ish)
- zoom in to different parts of you object for each experiment
- Each experiment must explore different combinations of materials
- (keep in mind that some materials will react different depending on the material that is under and/or add on top of it)
- Explore color scheme and value (shadows, mid tones and highlights)
- your media studies should cover the different surfaces related to your subject:
- The actual object, the material it is wrapped in, the thread or binding as well as the surface or background of the object.
- Use our artist for this unit as inspiration.
