Task#1: Introduction

Task#3: Structure
- take 15 minutes, look around your house and gather as many boxes as you can (cereal, shoe, tissue, amazon...)
- build a structure using only those boxes

- Composition (interesting from all angles)
- Space (Negative Space: the space in and around your structure)
- Structure/Stability (is your structure self supporting, can it withstand a bump or shaking of its foundation)
- Creativity (intersting and unique vs. trite, boring, and expected)
- If you are using an iphone please change your camera settings so that you can upload images to drive (Settings>Camera>Formats>Most Compatible)
- Take 3 pictures of your structure from 3 different views that best show your use of the project rubric.

- Upload your 3 images to this google drive folder
- YOU MUST BE SIGNED IN WITH YOUR SCHOOL EMAIL IN ORDER ACCESS THIS FOLDER!!!
- New>File Upload>Select Images>Open
- Label your with the first letter of your first name and the last 3 letters your last name with either a 1, 2 or 3 indicating the image number (see demo). Select each of your images>right click>rename.
Group Activity
- Take notes if your image is being discussed
- Ask questions about the assessment to help more fully understand
- Use Rubric Criteria to guide discussion; Composition, Space, Structure, Creativity
- Give constructive feedback to your peers
- Discuss strengths and weaknesses in order to improve
Write 1 paragraph for each criteria: Composition, Space, Structure Creativity. Begin each paragraph by stating what score you would give yourself on your structure then discuss your process for each criteria.

Homework expectations may change daily depending on what is or isn't covered during class. Stay updated in schoology and here on the blog...
- 9/9 Show and explain to parents all course material covered in Task#1 (schoology, schoology Q1 folder)
- 9/9 Parent Sign Syllabus
- 9/14 Get a cereal box, if you can not find a cereal box you may use another type of box of an equivalent size. Upload image of your box to the Cereal box assignment in the Schoology Homework folder.
