Warm-up: Read Blog Post-it Note Task Task#1: Still Life Detail Today is the last day to add value and other details (background, foreground...) to your still life drawing. If you haven't already please sign and date your still life. Task#2: Portrait Sketches Open up the Self-Portrait PowerPoint you downloaded yesterday or go to the this Link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BznGzFiOk38CNENjZ25TVTBnQ0E Go to your next clean sketchbook page. Divided the page into 4 sections (vertical line down the center and a horizontal line down the center). Looking at slides 1-17 pick 4 of the self-portrait images and sketch them into to the 4 sections of your paper. One image per section. Task#3: Generic Portrait Following the proportion steps given in slides 17-82 you will create a generic portrait. Generic means it doesn't have to be anybody specific, I am just looking to see that you can follow the steps and keep the portrait in proportion. When you have finished blocking in all the features including the shoulders you will add value to the face to define the form and facial features. Task#4: Celebrity Portrait When you finish adding value to your Generic Portrait try looking at a picture of you favorite celebrity and draw them using the proportion rules. Task#5: Homework Free Sketch...Due TUESDAY (11/24) Must bring in a digital picture of yourself. Shoulders and up (high resolution) Task#6: Exit Ticket On the back of your post-it note write down which facial feature you feel is the hardest to draw and explain why you feel this way. If you didn't get the photoshop notes written down get the directions from the file below in order to get full credit for yesterdays assignment. ![]()
