Task#1: 8 sections
Take your paper and divide it into 8 sections. Task#2: Google Image Search "Abstract Sculpture" You will need to draw one sculpture in each of the 8 sections. 4 of the images must have negative space with in the form. Save each image you draw to a folder on your desktop so you can reference them later. Task#3: Color and Value When you have finished all 8 sketches add color and value to your images. Task#4: Project Drawing When you finish adding value and color you will need another sheet of white paper. It should fit with in the 3D shape of the our foam block. You can draw the block just like you would draw a building in 2 point perspective. The block should be tall and take up most of the page. Leave negative spaces white and shade in everything else. Leave a dark line around the outside edge. printed out your Celebrity portraits from last class.

Celebrity-someone famous: athlete, musician, politician... Task#2: High Resolution I will demonstrate how to find a high resolution photo of your celebrity. It may take a while because many photos are block on the school server. Task#3: What kind of photo is best? We need an image of your celebrity that is shoulders and up. Task#4: Photoshop Edit We will need to crop the pictures to be 8X10 and saved as YourName_Celebrity. This is the last day to work on your city. If you haven't started watercolor you will want to do that. If you have finished watercolor you can work on adding colored pencils to define the structures, sky and streets. Task#2: Add color pencil details Using the color pencil and analogous colors you can add details to your buildings, windows, doors, streets and grass. Task#3: Homework Homework this week is to create an image using two point perspective. Task#1: Required Elements
-Must have at least 11 buildings (some above the horizon and some below the horizon). -Must included at least 4 roads -Needs windows on all buildings (more detail in the foreground, less detail in the background) -Foreground or street view buildings need doors. Task#2: Erase all extra lines (clean and neat) Task#3: Watercolor sky Use analogous colors to create a smooth transition from light to dark creating a light source for you piece. Keep colors watered down so that they are light and transparent. Task#4: Streets/Grass Finish roads and grass the same way using light transparent washes of colors. Do not work dark.
