Add value to your still life. You should have overall value (no white paper) as well as detail value changes on your subject.

Task#3: Mounting Project
Guided Practice:
I will show you how to mount you project to th black paper. On the back of your project you will need to put a series of little dots down the edge of you project and across the middle, then smear the dots together with your finger. You will then flip your project over to mount it in the center of the black paper.
Independent Practice:
Mount your Project. After mounting your project write your name clearly on the back of your project with a color pencil.
Task#4: Self-Assessment Rubric
Using the Rubric you will need to score your Line Design Project.
This is for a grade based on how close your score is to my score as well as completing the rubric form correctly. When you are finished tape your rubric to the back of your project.
Score accuracy with in:
If your score is with in 5 points of my score you will have 100.
5 points=100
10 points=95
15 points=90
20 points=80....
Task#5: Photoshop
Guided Practice:
I will demonstrate steps you will use to create your monochromatic portrait in photoshop. You will need to take notes for a grade.
Task#6: Photoshop Image Practice
Independent Practice:
Go to Google Chrome>
Search a Celebrity (someone famous)>
Image search>
search tools>
Size>
Large>
Find the image you want to use>
Select it>
view image option>
when the larger image comes up>
Right Click>
Save as>
"photoshop practice" to your desk top>
go to image on desk top>
right click>
open with>
photoshop Elements 8
Take this image and follow the steps given in class to create a monochromatic portrait in photoshop, don't for get to save your work.
