Get Out your Project Paper and your practice designs from last class.
Guided Practice: Demonstration
I will demonstrate how to start blocking in designs for your larger project. You want your design to change and move as it fits to the form of the plants. See how I divide up sections and alter a design to make it more interesting.
Independent Practice:
You will begin LIGHTLY blocking in your line designs. Working lightly will make it easier to make corrections and change parts of your design as need. Work small, neat and clean. Do not color in black areas. We will use lines to create dark areas with sharpie. See google doc link below for design ideas:

On the back of your post-it know draw a line design that shows good line quality, craftsmanship and positive space. Use the whole space on the back of your post-it note.

Due 10/26: Create an Album cover for your favorite musician using only line designs.
