Task#2: Fingerprint Artist
Task#3: Your Fingerprint Use the markers provided and the post it note to document your finger print. See demonstration. You might have to do this several times to get a good print. Use a dark marker to create contrast. Try using different fingers to find the best print. Task#4: Isolate Decided which print is the best and isolate it on your paper. Divide it in half horizontally along the center axis and vertically along the center axis. | |
Task#5: Line
When creating your finger print you want to think about line quality, spacing, pattern, organic line and movement. Notice that some areas are thicker or thinner than others. Look at the negative space between the lines.
Task#6: Project Paper
Crop out the border of you project paper using the tape provided. Using the project paper and the pastel pencils begin blocking in your fingerprint. Price lightly with the pastel pencil so that you can make changes. Use good line quality, varying the thickness and thinness to mirror the lines on your fingerprint.

Create an image that deals with identity in someway.
