Task#2: Cross Contour Drawing
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QiPT75pHL_8
Cross contour lines are drawn lines which travel, as the name suggests, across the form. Cross contour lines may be horizontal or vertical, or both, but always describe the form (three-dimensionality of an object or surface).
Task#3: independent practice
Using the bottles on your table practice drawing using cross contour. Draw the shape of the bottle then define the form using horizontal and vertical cross contour lines.
Task#4: Black Paper Drawing
At your table arrange 3 bottles into a still life. Using a lighter color colored pencil sketch the bottles as cross contour line drawings. Put your name on the back of the paper.
Task#5: Tracing w/ Glue
Demo: adjust the flow of glue to a thin clean line.
Independent Practice:
Decide which cross contour lines are most important to the form and trace those lines with the glue.
Task#6: Clean UP
Carefully move your drawings to the center of the table to dry. Make sure your glue bottle is clean, closed and put away. Put up your color pencil.
Task#7: Closure
