HL students submit 13-25 screens which evidence their sustained experimentation, exploration, manipulation and refinement of a variety of art-making activities. For HL students the submitted work must have been created in at least three art-making forms, selected from a minimum of two columns of the art-making forms table below. Exhibition 40%
HL students submit:

- Curatorial Rationale that does not exceed 700 words.
- 8-11 artworks
- Exhibition text (stating the title, medium, size and intention of the artwork) for each selected artwork
Criteria
A: Coherent body of works: a coherent collection of works which fulfill stated artistic intentions and communicate clear thematic or stylistic relationships across individual pieces.
B: Technical Competence: to what extent does the submitted work demonstrate effective application and manipulation of media and materials, and effective application and manipulation of the formal qualities of art?
C: Conceptual Qualities: to what extent does the work demonstrate effective resolution of imagery, signs and symbols to realize the function, meaning and purpose of the artwork, as appropriate to stated intentions?
D: Curatorial Practice: to what extent does the curatorial rationale demonstrate the justification of the selection, arrangement and exhibition of a group of artworks within a designated space? Reflection of how the exhibition conveys an understanding of the relationship between the artworks and the viewer.
