Complete the worksheet by researching different cultures. Turn in completed worksheet at the end of class. Due Monday (3/18) Warm UP: You need the following
Task#1: Spray paint-Step 1 First practice on the piece of news paper
Task#2: Repeat process Repeat process making a stencil on your two wall paper backgrounds then on your two collages. The two collages are your final project, make sure you use excellent craftsmanship and apply the technique practice on the wall paper backgrounds. Task#3: Incomplete work Once you are finished with spray paint get out your computer.
If you didn't have your stencil uploaded by 9AM to the link given last week you have a zero for your homework and project. You will need to print your own image in order receive a late grade for both your homework and final stencil. WarmUP: Find your stencil
If you did not have it uploaded you will need to print your image 8x10 (don't crop to fit). Task#1: Extra Bridges Review your stencil add any extra bridges you feel your stencil needs to help make it more structurally sound. Remember bridges are used to hold the white spaces together when we cutout the black spaces. Task#2: Encaustic We will use encaustic was to seal our image and make it easier to print. Slide image into wax and pull out the other side. Let extra wax drip off back into the burner. Task#3: Cutout Sign-out an exacto blade, get a blue mat and begin cutting out your black spaces. WarmUP: Find two newspaper pages to use as collage backgrounds Task#1: Collage
