Sign-out a pencil and return at the end of class. Get a clear ruler and return at the end of class.
Task#3: 2 point perspective
On the paper provided recreate the image you select using what you know about two point perspective. You may use your sketchbook if you need to see our activity from Friday.
Start by finding the horizon line and the location of the vanishing points. Remember the vanishing points in the picture may be off the page. If that is the case put your vanishing points at the edge of your page and just draw a little smaller and don't take the buildings all the way to the edge of the paper.
Task#4: Turn in work
All work will need to be turned in at the end of class. If you do not turn in your work at the end of class you will receive a zero which can not be made up. Make sure your name is on your work.
Task#5: Homework Due Friday
Divide your sketchbook page in half horizontally
part 1: Top half of the page
Research a city you would like to reference for this project. Decided on the city, and give me some information: location, size, population, climate, major transportation types...
part 2: Bottom half of your page
Find and save several images of your city to your computer. Keep in mind the type of perspective used in the images (is it closer to 1-point or 2-point perspective). Try to find examples of both types of images. Choose one of the images and make a sketch using perspective.
